  • update your site settings (upper-right corner: “Settings” button)
  • activate and try out other themes and plugins
• Read about all the Omeka plugins and themes (i.e. inlcuding those available only on Omeka.org sites) here (e.g. Image Annotation plugin)
• Play around with the Scripto demo site
• Browse the Omeka documentation, e.g. the page of things you should think about when planning an Omeka site
• Check out the Omeka site showcase as well as the wiki list of Omeka sites
• Add some different types of media (e.g. an mp3) to your Omeka.net site (see list of sources for finding more usable media below)
